An interesting weekend with a friend

Tuesday, 16th August

Due to holidays there was no meditation class today. Ben helped out at the centre, they had a day for the children. I went to the gym after work, Ben had dinner at the centre. We met at the station to go home together. I waited for him, he walked up to me, looking at just me. It was as if we were the only thing in the world. I often have to pause and thank the whatever it is, for sending Ben to me. I think he feels the same. I have said it before, we are both not keen on public displays of affection, but we shared a passionate kiss at the station. Sometimes his child like behaviour has an effect on me and I feel like a teenager in the throws of first love. He had brought some food from the centre for me and heated it up, while I had a shower. We had dinner outside.

Yesterday I searched in the attic for the documents Mr Allender needs. I did not realise it was so many boxes. I found it easily, as I had labelled the boxes well. Quite unusual for me. I have to sort it out, and get it shredded or something. My Master was meticulous, he kept every receipt.

We went for a short walk after dinner, we nearly called at S/T/D's house, then we remembered they are on holiday.

Saturday, 20th August

I had today off, I think it was my first Saturday off since I started working this summer. I had invited

Sven and his puppy for coffee. Sven called me in the morning, was it ok if he brought another puppy along, his Master had been called in to work, and Sven had been asked to look after him. I could hardly say no, but I was not too pleased. I was even more taken aback when they turned up in full gear, the puppies in the boot of his car. It was a warm day, and they were in full rubber gear, although short sleeved and short trousers. Ben and I were dressed casually, we had expected a nice get together and time to chat. Sven did realise we were not prepared, he explained the friends' puppy had travelled from the country, expecting a full weekend of play and training, so Sven did not want to disappoint him. We managed to have coffee and cake in a normal way, then Sven sent the boys off to play in the garden. We have a high hedge, and the neighbours, I think, are used to us, but this must have been something else. My neighbours use their houses mostly at the weekend and during holidays, so they were both there.

Ben had fetched his prayer stool and sat next to me, but after a while I encouraged him to play with the puppies. He reluctantly got up and threw a ball for them a few times. He excused himself for a bathroom break, but he took his time. I finally went to find him. He was sitting on his cot, doing breathing exercises. He managed to explain to me he suddenly felt very anxious at the thought of joining us again and looking at the boys in their gear. We have discussed it before, he does not know

why, but he really does not like men pretending to be dogs. We have a Master and puppy come to the club in full dog dress and mode, and he keeps away from them. I could see he was genuine, and he had tried. So I allowed him to stay in his room. His room is close to the patio, and there are windows onto it, which were open. I told him to put his Ipod in, so he could not hear us, and he had to stay in his cell.

I explained to Sven that Ben would not be joining us again and the reason. Sven understood and apologised again for imposing this on us. We played with the puppies for a bit and then they left.

The slave helped me clear up. I suggested a session in his cage tonight, he did not look very enthusiastic. If I had insisted, he would have done it, and tried to enjoy it, he actually might have enjoyed it, but I realised it was too much dog style. Strange, as he does enjoy spending time in a cage. Instead I showed him the neoprene suit Sven had lend us, so he can go swimming in the lake. Sven is a surfer, so he has neoprene swim suits. It will protect his stoma from dirty water entering, and keep him warm. He does not have many fat reserves and gets cold quite easily, all due to his diet. I had bought some brightly coloured swimcaps, and we went for a swim. He is a surprisingly good swimmer. He told me there are a lot of lakes where he grew up and they used to go swimming there a lot. He does not like swimming pools.

It can get quite busy with small boats on the lake, so it can be quite dangerous in the lake, that's why I had gotten so cross the weekend before. We had been swimming in lakes in Dalarna, there the water is cleaner, but even colder. We had not been in very long, as he got so cold.

He had lived by a lake in Canada, and water sports was a big tourist thing there, but he had not been allowed by Barbara and Robert. Such a shame. He got on well with the suit and we will definitely get him one.
