I'm back!

Saturday, 21st January

So, my hand is healing well, I can type well enough again. The last 2 weeks have been a strain, Ben can surely tell you better how much a hindrance to daily life having at least one hand out of action even slightly can be. You will want to know what exactly happened:

I was discussing some plans with the foreman, they had discovered some rotten beams. I thought to prevent finds like this we had taken the building apart before the plans were made, it seems they got damaged then and deteriorated during the winter. Great, can I sue the old builders? Well, so we were looking over the plans, I had my left hand flat on the table, when a toolbox feel through the ceiling, onto my hand. Luckily it was not that full, but of course bad enough to cause my middle 3 fingers (metatarsals, the ones that are the flat bit), to break clean. The foreman drove me to hospital, where they managed to do the operation straight away, under local anaesthetic. The pain kicked in later, and it swelled up a lot as well. I was able to go home with Ben later that day. The poor boy, he has been quite flustered, does not know how to behave. I have been very cranky and do not like having to rely on him to help me get dressed, he has to cut my food, get shoes on, incredible, fingers are very useful. After the worst of the swelling had gone down, I was able to use my fingers again, the sooner one does, the better. But I was restricted with carrying stuff or putting pressure on stuff. Holding a knife to cut my meat still is impossible. It is the stuff which requires fine motoric, like lacing shoes.

I will have the wires out next week or so, they will have to do an x-ray to see how well my bones have healed.

We have stayed at the flat, we, well the boy, has brought more stuff over. I am glad to have the car, although I cannot drive at the moment. It is handy to get to the building site, the boy knows the route very well. The accident happened on a Thursday, we went over on the Monday. I introduced him as part owner, so they knew not to mess with him. Those rotten beams are luckily not holding up the work too much, they can continue with other work, but it is quite a cost. It has been decided to replace one beam with steel. The boy is surprisingly knowledgeable, but then he used to help Robert, who did odd jobs and carpentry in South River. He manages to convey his knowledge and no-nonsense to the builders, but at the same time he refers to me. Last week the foreman wanted to discuss something with us, and he looked more at Ben when he explained the problem. Ben asked him to address me, I was the boss. The foreman was slightly confused. I sent Ben to the car to wait for me, and I explained our set-up to the foreman. He is a man's man, I think he can just about deal with a gay couple, but M/s, that was going over his head. As long as he does his work and respects us, I do not care what he thinks about us.

We have managed to have some bondage, we have to adjust a little what we are doing. The boy has brought everything from his room to the office, so he can stay in his cell again. It took him several days, as carrying boxes like that is causing him pain. I do not know why we did not put everything in the office in the first place. The first few nights he slept in his cage, then he brought his mattress into my room, as I said, now he is back in his cell.

For other people it would be very odd to have a grown man crawl into a cage every night, for us it is normal. So why did he change to sleeping on his mattress? Because I was getting tangled in sheets and I frequently woke him to help me get the sheet of the wires, until we developed a system to cover the wires at night.

We have used a cage a lot during the last 2 weeks, along with the bench. I can just manage to tighten the belts sufficiently. He is a happy slave.

A strange turn of events

Saturday, 7th January

Hej, it's Ben writing. Master is out of action. He broke his left hand at the building site. He needed an operation to fix the bones in place, he has some wires sticking out, holding everything in place. It looks very alien. I quite like looking after HIM for a change, he does not. He cannot use his left hand for typing, so will take a break from posting. Check out my blog if you want to know how he is/we are getting on.  http://slaveben.blogspot.co.uk/

Dealing wth builders!

Monday, 2nd January

Here we are again, what am I going to do this year?

We had a nice party, Martin and his wife were here, she got on very well with Lasse.

P/L are going away to the sun again, we decided we will spend more time at the flat while they are away. The builders will start tomorrow. I will have to go and meet everyone.

I contacted the agency to say I would not be available at short notice, I would need a bit more time to plan.

Ben has received a long letter from Ruth, she has had it difficult, but Mark has come around. Erik and Barbara have settled in the new house and got a new puppy. If she falls pregnant again, they will be very happy, if it does not happen, so be it.

Tuesday, 3rd January

I had to be at the building site for 8am, for once I was the first up! Ben had his lessons, they got their results. He did well, he is very happy. All his studying and practise has paid off.

I met the foreman, he is very professional. He asked me how do we think we can make a club viable in that location? I explained who our members are, he said he had done a lot of clubs, never anything like this, it is a very interesting concept. He asked me if I am into the scene, or is it just a business investment? You readers know I am not that forward, but something annoyed me with that question and I told him I will bring my slave along later in the week, and he can explain how much I am in the scene. I will have to do it, he did not believe me at all.

Of course the builders have keys, I do not have to be there all the time. Martin and his family are 4 weeks in Australia, I do not know how he managed to get the kids out of school. So I have to deal with everything relating to building work. The work is scheduled to take 6 weeks, realistic 8 weeks.

New Year's eve plans

Friday, 30th December

We decided to spend a few days at the flat. We were talking if we are going to mark New Year, and decided to invite some friends to the flat. I told Ben that he will have to stay in my room, his is full of booze and stuff from the club. I had never mentioned it, he was somewhat surprised. When we came in, it was the first thing he checked. He just responded, good, I can still use my bathroom. Like the old bathroom at the house, his bathroom is more spacious and he can manage better in there when he cleans himself out.

Of course there are no books or ornaments around, Ben had thought about it and brought some framed photos. This made it our space again, we re-arranged some furniture, it is not a very good layout, but it is ours. We have come up with a solution, he will sleep in the cage in my room.

I think it makes time we spend together extra special, when we cuddle on the sofa or have sex. Being separate at night, it can be frustrating, but it makes it better when we are together.

We have invited our tenants, but they are already busy. Mats and Sahid are going to a big private play party. Per and Lasse will come.

update re Ben's blog

Sorry readers,  I thought I had set the blog of Ben to be published last week.

I have now published Ben's story fully. About 18 months worth, and a few hours reading.

Have fun !

Christmas in Dalarna

Sunday, 25th December
The drive here was easy, we swapped plenty of times and took our time. Ben is staying in the bed with me, with some help of restraints. To keep him in bed, and because we like it.
The dog, he is called Dog, was pleased to see Ben, and is not leaving him. Ben is very happy. It had snowed here, and Ben, the kids and Dog are having fun in the snow. I enjoy warming him up when he comes in, through my body warmth. My aunt is managing well with the help of her medication.
It was so nice spending Christmas with the family, it is not such a religious event, more the traditions. Of course Ben has never experienced this, and being part of this family makes him very happy. In America Thanksgiving is the big family day, Christmas got celebrated in his family, as good Catholics, but they do not have these traditions.
Ben and I did not have presents for each other, and we had requested that we do not get anything from the adults. We had bought something for the adults, and of course the children.

Tuesday, 27th December
We are going home tomorrow, it will be nice to be back in our own space. We have travelled so much this year!
The whole family went dog sledging today, there is a place 45 minutes drive away. The kids were super excited. Of course the family had asked about our trip to Canada and it had come up.
Ben was allowed to steer the sledge, he gets so exhilarated by it. Shame he gets so cold through and through. Luckily they had a hot tub there.
Still, when we came home, Ben and I went to bed and he snuggled up to me to warm up. My aunt said it took her a while to explain to the children why we went to bed during the day when we were not ill.

Thursday, 29th December
So we are back at the house, it is good to be back here. Of course Ben was sad to leave Dog. It will be good not to have to put on a show for the children. We once slipped and my aunt was very annoyed, I think the children did not pick up on it. It was only the way we talked to each other.
It was a long journey yesterday, it was bad to drive. Ben felt a bit down, he did get too cold on the sledge, but he is better today. There are no classes, but we can go to the gym.
