Friday, 16th December
So, the week was interesting. The
patients were very much like at the other health centre, mostly older
people, but also young mothers and professionals. I often went for a
walk during my break, it was not enough time to come home. The boy
again provided me with nice food parcels. I topped it up by going to
a very good local Lebanese cafe. I have to bring Ben here. The
doctors here work very long hours, most stayed during the break time
and caught up with paper work or professional publications. I had a
very good talk with the doctor in charge, he tried to convince me to
train for general medicine. I declined.
We are looking forward to our stay
at the hotel, as we did not stay on our wedding night, this is kind
of it. I have booked a limousine to take us.
