Getting back to "normal"

Thursday, 24th November

Ben wanted to got to class today, he has missed quite a few classes. He had asked for some homework while we were away, but of course he had planned to be back a week earlier. I drove him to the school, I told him to call me if it was too much, I can fetch him. I went to the gym.

I had a call while I was in the gym from the co-ordinator from the university about my talk. I had emailed her to explain who I was and was it ok if I did the talk instead of my colleague. She was very helpful and invited me for a visit before the talk, so I could see the room etc, if I wanted to.

I picked the boy up from school and we went to the Centre for lunch and meet Sabine. Sadly we had not that much time with her, as she wanted to go to yoga. I know the boy wanted to go, he might feel now as if he has not been ill at all, but he still has 2 rounds of antibiotics! Tonsillitis can make you very ill at the beginning, and then one feels on top of the world again. I have had it, and have witnessed it often whilst at boarding school.

When we got home he did feel quite tired and rested. I started planning my talk. I do not like having the office upstairs, so I took everything downstairs and worked on the dining table, where I was joined by the slave, doing his homework, whilst he had his IV.

I seem to have a few regular readers. It would be nice to get some feedback.
How did you find the blog?
What makes you come back to read it?
Who are you?
