The wedding and more

Sunday, 20th December

I have not had time to post, with everything and then working at the weekend. Does it feel different to be married? YES!!!

We had a perfect day, Ben's arm has healed nicely, by the way. Ben had arranged presents for my birthday on the dining table before he left last night, covered with a sheet. I did not feel like unwrapping them by myself. I got to the hotel late, everyone was already there. Unusual for the “groom” to be late! We did not have an aisle, and we did not walk into the room after everyone, we were just all there and then took our places. It was a short ceremony, and we exchanged rings. Everyone came to congratulate us and then we went to have our meal in the veranda, not totally separate from normal lunch guests, we just had a corner, being such a small party. Everyone sang happy birthday to me and there was a cake with candles. It was nice to “share“ our day with the other guests, we bought them all a glass of champagne. Ben wore a gorgeous suit, I have to ask Sabine where they got it from.

The party broke off after lunch, that was always the plan. Stine and Torben had booked themselves a room, they got a wedding guest discount. My family wanted to explore Stockholm.

Per and Lasse gave us a ride in an old car as wedding present back to the house. It was perfect.

When we came to the house we found it had been decorated by Stine and Torben, they had got the key from my neighbour. Everything was ready for coffee and cake. We skyped Barbara and Erik, just to exchange congratulations. Then it was a strange atmosphere, you know when you anticipate an event so much and have it all planned, and when it comes to it, you do not want to go. The boy finally got things going by presenting me with a box. He kneeled I front of me, as if to propose, and held the box to me. He said he had had it done at Per and Lasse's the evening before. Inside the box was his collar.

He said the collar had been bothering him, it really did feel like a collar. (I had noticed him fidgeting with it the last 2 weeks). He wants to make a new start with me, and that meant removing it.

He has a little burn on the back of his neck where they had to cut the metal, he said it was worth it.

I was very touched. Then I opened my other presents, but the collar was the best one. Finally we did feel in the mood and Ben took me to the play room. He truly gave himself to me as a combined wedding/birthday present.

Friday morning we met with our family for breakfast at the hotel and then spent some time together. We went to the Vasa museum, Ben had not been to it yet either. We were holding hands all day, we have never done that before. I have just noticed I have written “our family”. Well, I guess now it is his family as well.

In the evening we went to the Club M/s night. The afternoon we spent at home (the flat), relaxing. I noticed the boy sometimes touched his throat, as if to feel for the collar.

When we got to the club he disappeared with Martin for a few minutes. They were definitely up to something, so when Per and Lasse turned up, and Ingrid as well (as always, the best dressed in the room), I was not surprised that Martin called me onto our little stage. He gave a speech, thanking me for being such a good boss and making the club possible. Lots of cheers. Then I got another happy birthday. Then he mentioned how I had always been welcomed to M/s nights, they made an exception for me, as I am the owner, but most of the time turned up without a slave (buuhs). He then mentioned Ben, how he moved to Sweden 6 months ago to be my slave, but criticised our absences from M/s nights during that period. August was closed, September I had to work, October the slave was ill. He asked Ben onto the stage and told the audience that we had a double celebration, that Ben and I had gotten married the previous day. More even louder cheers. Then he gave the microphone to Ben, I was already totally embarrassed, what could he do to me now? Ben started by apologising for embarrassing me and taking the liberty to organise this with Martin behind my back, he would expect his punishment later, like a good slave. Hear, hear from the Masters.

He explained to the audience that he had been slave to another Master, who had recently died, and circumstances too long to explain had brought him to Sweden and his wonderful Master Owe. He then kneeled again, on both knees, like his position dictates. Martin handed him a box, which he now presented to me. He said: My previous Master collared me, which I had removed for the wedding, and now I would like to give my Master Owe the opportunity to put a new collar onto me.

My hands were shaking, I could not take the collar out of he box. The audience had gotten quiet, Ben bent his head. He still had a bandage on the back of his neck, the new collar would press onto it.

To be honest, I felt slightly uncomfortable doing this in front of an audience. We have had ceremonies before at the club, and there were often vows. We were not expected to do that, I assumed. Martin had to help me release the mechanism, this collar is removable. After I had put it on, I pulled Ben up quickly and embraced and kissed him. We got some applause, but soon everyone was chatting again and going about their business. We joined the crowd and and people stopped us to congratulate us all evening. We actually did not stay that long.

When we got home I thanked the slave again for his wonderful gesture, I hoped he was as happy as I was. I asked how he got it all organised. The slave responded he hoped I was not too angry, he knew making a public showing like this was not my thing, but he felt it was the right thing to do. Of course P/L helped him with everything, they found a craftsman to remove the collar and browsed the internet for him to find a nice collar, which he then ordered.

The slave has limited internet time, and only when I am around to supervise. I trust P/L and have relied on them before to reinforce my wishes.

Saturday I had a late followed by on-call again. My family left Saturday morning, and we went to the hotel to say goodbye. The slave is not wearing his new collar, as it is indeed making his sore worse. I went to the gym, and we had some lunch at home. The slave went to the house to fetch my presents. He bumped into our friends who invited him for the afternoon. I am very glad they get along so well.

When I got home this morning he was running me a bath. Apparently he could feel me coming home and timed it just right. He did not join me, but washed me and massaged my shoulders and neck.

I slept very well. The slave spent all day baking, he likes trying new recipes. Sweden is known for its Christmas baked goods. I must have been extremely tired to sleep through it.
