Update

Friday, 17^th February

Life goes on, I had a check up, my hand has healed, now I need to do my exercises.

We have been back to the house to check on it, we haven't encountered any ghosts. The building work is full steam ahead, of course it will be longer than 6 weeks, which are over now. We have set a date for opening, which is in 2 weeks time, officially. Hopefully we can have a day or two of soft opening for the staff to get familiar with the bar. We have sent everyone on a 3 day bartender course and they learned to make cocktails, amongst other.

The slave said to me earlier he misses that there is no M/s night this month, some other regulars had made comments on the website, so we have booked a room at a bar for tomorrow.

It has been very cold this winter, and the lakes and rivers are frozen. The boy has been ice skating with different friends a few times, I enjoy skating, but am not taking the risk this year. I know taking vitamin c is not very effective, but I have made him take extra vitamins, and so far he has stayed healthy.

We had an interesting time at the accountants last week. He lives in a luxurious flat in Ostermalm, furnished with antiques and fine paintings. Ingrid fitted right in, and she looked very at home there.

Mats and Sahid are happy, they have calmed down and are not going to so many play parties. Mats has been accepted by Sahid's family, they are often there for meals.

I talked to Mats about painting the outside of the building, apparently we need permission from the council, Mr Allender is getting us quotes for scaffolding and from companies, and getting the permits from the council. It is too big a job for Mats. He immediately told me he was not interested in doing it, when I asked his advice. He has suggested some colours to me.

Oh, how could I forget: Ruth is coming in April, over the Easter holidays. She said she does not need to go to Church.
