Getting on with life

Monday, 23rd January

Sahid asked me earlier today for my professional advise, they had been to a play party all weekend, and Mats came home injured. They are a bit embarrassed to see a professional, as they will want to know how it happened. I told them to see a physio, we have some names on our website. I think he has strained a tendon, or it might actually have torn, it certainly needs checking out properly. Hopefully this has put them off playing with strangers, or at least setting clear boundaries.

I have a check-up on Thursday, I really hope it has healed enough for the wires to come out.

The agency has asked me if I can do some locum work next week, just the evenings, I have accepted it. They are aware of my injury, but that should be ok.

The slave has gone to check on the house, it has been so cold the last 2 weeks, the Malaren is starting to freeze. We feel almost at home here again, but from time to time I think, where is a certain item?, then remember it is at he house. We can cope.

The steel is coming tomorrow, I will go to the site. Luckily we have had no more disasters or hold ups. The architect will be there as well, we will have a full meeting. Ben will not join us, he has his full Tuesday agenda, so I will be representing us owners. I have asked Mr Allender to come along, as a qualified person.

I am meeting with Kristoffer, our new Assistant Manager, here at the flat, he has been away on holiday, as most of our staff, and I want to go through our plans with him and in general get to know him better. Him and his girlfriend will move into the flat. I believe she is a dancer, so a night person as well.
